ソウルに到着 (I've arrived in Seoul ! )

１１月１５日(火)　【旅 ８０日目　韓国２６日目】

 

 

 

今日も、水原(スウォン)のサッカースタジアムの駐車場での目覚め。

 

やっぱり寒くて、日の出前に目が覚める。

 

 

【日が昇るまで待って、出発。】

 

 

I stayed at a parking lot next to the football stadium.

It's too cold to keep sleeping until dawn.

I woke up around 6 am, then waited for dawn. 

 

スタジアムのすぐ近くに大学があったので、学食で朝食を済ませた。

 

ラウンジで日記を書いてから、水原駅へ向かう。

 

 

I left there for the university which is next to the stadium.

I had breakfast at a refecttory.

I wrote a diary at a lounge in the university, 

then I went to Suwon station.

 

 

 

 

駅のすぐ横にある観光案内所で市街の地図をもらい、

 

水原という街の概要をチェック。

 

水原には昔、"水原華城"(ｽｳｫﾝﾌｧｿﾝ)という城があった、世界遺産地区がある。

 

せっかくなので、ソウルへ発つ前に見学しておこうと思った。

 

 

I got a map of Suwon city at a visitor infomation.

I found a world heritage site in Suwon on the map.

The site used to have a castle named "Suwon fason".

 

I planded to see the site this afternoon.

 

 

 

水原の駅ビルではWi-Fiが使えたので、メールをチェック。

 

すると、釜山のリーからメールが来ていた。

 

 

「いまどこにいるのかな？ヨンジェと３人で、韓国のどこかで会わないかい？」

 

 

（ヨンジェくんは、日本語が話せるリーの友達。

 

リーと出会ったとき、電話で話して、いろいろ通訳をしてもらった。）

 

 

 

うれしいメールだった。

 

 

リーと再会でき、ヨンジェくんとも会えるかもしれない。

 

 

 

「それ、いいね！ぜひまた会おうよ！」

 

 

 

そういう返事をして、夜、電話で打ち合わせをすることに。

 

 

Then I checked my E-mail at Suwon station.

I got an E-mail from Lee who is living in Busan.

 

He said he would come and see me with YJ while I'm traveling in Korea.

(YJ is Lee's friend.We talked on the phone at the night I met Lee.)

 

I was so excited when I read it.

If we can see again in Korea, it'll be great!

(Also I wanted to meet with YJ.)

 

I sent Lee reply, and told him I was in Suwon city.

 

 

 

リーからのメールで、今日の予定がちょっと変更になった。

 

ヨンジェくんは、水原から南に６０ｋｍくらいの都市(天安)に住んでいる。

 

 

今日、４０ｋｍ北にあるソウルへ行くと、天安から遠ざかる。

 

 

いつ、どこで会うかは、相談してみないとわからないので、

 

 

今日は、ソウルまで移動せず、水原にもう一日留まることにした。

 

(夜でないと、リーと電話で相談ができない。)

 

 

My today's plan had been changed by Lee's message.

I thought it should have not go to Seoul today,

because YJ lives in north of Suwon.

 

So I had decided to stay one more day in Suwon.

I was going to call Lee tonight.

 

 

 

 

移動しないとなれば、今日はもう水原でのんびり過ごすしかない。

 

街を自転車で少し見て回り、朝とは違う大学でランチ。

 

 

【午後は、水原華城を見学。】

 

I spend the rest of the day in Suwon.

There was no hurry.

So I cycled around Suwon, had lunch in a university, 

and went to Suwon fason(the world heritage castle site.).

 

 

今日は、またサッカースタジアムでキャンプするつもりだったので、

 

朝の大学で夕飯を食べ、ラウンジが閉まる午後８時まで大学にいた。

 

 

リーに電話すると、来週、会いに来られそうだということだった。

 

詳しくは、また明日の夜相談することにした。

 

 

来週会うならまだ時間があるので、一旦ソウルまで行ってしまおう。

 

 

明日、会う予定だったヨンくんにも電話をして、

 

約束が延期になってしまったことを謝った。

 

 

I rang Lee at night.

We discussed our meeting plan.

Then we decided we would meet on someday in next week.

 

 

 

リーからの思わぬ提案により、今後の予定(韓国出発日)が少し変わりそうだ。

 

 

でも、彼らに会えるのなら、いくら予定が延びてもいいと思った。

 

韓国に滞在できる期間には、まだ余裕がたっぷりある。

 

(日本人は、ノービザで９０日間いられる。)

 

 

ヨンくんとの再会、エルヴィンとの出会いの他に、

 

リーとの再会という思わぬイベントが一つ増えた。

 

 

韓国の旅は、最後まで楽しくなりそうだ。

 

 

I have 3 meetings in Korea.

 

Meeting Young-kun, Alvin, Lee and YJ.

 

I still have enough time to stay in Korea.

(The maximum is 90 days for Japanese.)

 

I'm looking forward to all of those meetings.

１１月１６日(水)　【旅 ８１日目　韓国２７日目】

 

 

今日も、水原(ｽｳｫﾝ)のサッカースタジアム駐車場での目覚め。

I stayed at a parking lot near the world cup football statium.
(Extactly the same place I stayed at yesterday.)

 

午前中、水原華城の敷地内で毎日やっている、

 

 

【兵士の戦いのデモンストレーションを見て】

I went to the world heritage castle to watch the demonstration of oldstyke Korean soldier's battle.
 

 

ソウルへ向け、水原を出発。

 

(リーたちとも、ソウルで会えることになった♪)

 

Then I left Suwon for Seoul.

 

水原からソウルまでは、１号線で約４０ｋｍ。

 

 

その間は街が続いていて、車道はずっと４～６車線もある広い道路。

 

ふつう、車線数が多いのはうれしいことだけど、

 

ソウルまでの道は、車もハンパじゃなく多かったので、

 

車だらけで、びくびくしながら走らなくてはならなかった。

 

 

しかも信号も多くて(つまり、待ち時間も長くて)、

 

たった４０ｋｍくらいの移動なのに、ものすごく疲れた。

 

ストップ＆ゴーの連続は、体力の消耗が激しい。車の燃費と一緒だ。

 

Seoul  is only 40km away from Suwon on route 1 .
So it would take about 2 hours to get to Seoul normally.

But... the traffic on route 1 was so heavey.
It has 4-6 lanes all the way to Seoul, but it was still crowded with cars.
It was difficult to ride a bike at many places on route 1.

Fatthermore, route 1 has lots of traffic lights.
So the riding on route 1 was so stressfull.
 

 

夕方、くたくたになりながら、

 

【やっとソウルに着いた】

I was really tired when I got to Seoul.

 

すぐにチムジルバンを探して、今日の寝床を決定。

 

 

疲れてはいたけど、せっかくソウルに着いたので、

 

明洞と南大門の繁華街・市場を歩いてみた。

 

 

明洞は、韓国で一番の繁華街だろう。人の多さがものすごい。

 

荷物満載のケーン号を引いて歩くような場所ではなかったな。

 

 

それでも、２時間もうろうろと歩いて、ほんとにもうくたくた。

 

 

チムジルバンで風呂につかると、極楽気分だった。

 

 

 

夜、ヨンくんに電話をして、明日の昼に会えることになった。

 

ソウルには、たくさん楽しみが待っていている♪

 

I found a Jjimjilbang near Seoul station.
I went there after 2 hours walking around Seoul downtown.

I was so exhausted.
I felt like I had been in heaven when I took a bath in the Jjimjilbang.

Anyhow, I finally had got to Seoul today.

I'm looking forward to meeting Korean friends here.

【韓国の"へぇ～"】(What I saw in Korea.)

 

 

街中では、ビリヤード場をよく見かける。

 

 

【どの店も、赤や青の玉のサインである】

 

We can see lots of pool (billiards) clubs in cities in Korea.

 

 

ボーリング場も、よく見かける。

 

【ここにも、ビリヤード場が併設されている】

 

We also often see 10 pin bowling clubs.

 

 

 

特にビリヤードは人気なのか、ビリヤード場の数は、本当に多い。

 

コンビニの数と同じくらい、ビリヤード場があると思う。

 

それくらい、たくさんあってびっくりする。

 

I think pool and bowling are popular recreations in Korea.

And maybe pool is more popular than 10 pin bowling.

I was bit suprised how many pool clubs are in cities in Korea. 

The number of pool clubs are almost same as the number of convenience stores here.

 

 

俺は、ビリヤード好きなので、韓国式のビリヤードがどんなものなのか、

 

ぜひ一度やってみたい。

 

ヨンくんかエルヴィンか、リーとヨンジェくんも誘って、勝負してみたいな♪

 

 

I like playing billiards.

So I'm interested in Korean way of playing billiards.

And I also am interested in how good Korean people can play it.

I'll challenge my Korean friends to billiards.
