I stayed at a Jjimjilbang in Daejeon city last night.
In the morning, I took a bath again.
I got relaxed very much until 10am.
It was nice staying here, thank you!
+ + + + + + + + + +
From Daejeon, I rode a bike on highway 17.
There are lots of cities between Daejeon and Seoul.
I think Korea has large population in this area.
I can feel Seoul, the capital city of Korea, is reaching gradually.
The features of highway 17 are...
・The width of the road is good enough for cars to pass a bike safely.
・The surface of the road is smooth.
・Cars go fast. (Speed limit is 80 km/h)
・Car drivers are kind enough to take enough space
between car and my bike when they take over me.
・We have to wait long once we stop at a traffic light.
Although It continue having ups and downs,
it's still easy to ride on the highway 17.
I like Korean highways I have ever ridden on.
So, today's riding was good.
I put the apron on the rear side of my bike
which is from the Japanese restaurant one of my friend owns.
I can read Korean words.
It's interesting to read signs on the road.
I often find Korean words which has similar sound to Japanese one.
It's also fun to find those similarities.
I arrived in Jingcheon city before dusk.
According to the map, it should have big city. But it wasn't.
I wondered why...
I checked on the map. Then I found why.
Today's destination was "Cheongju".
But I passed there, then I arrived in "Jingcheon" !
Some of Korean city sounds similar to another one.
I confused those two names.
But It was still OK because I just rode much for north.
It wasn't wrong way.
But it could be big mistake.
I need to know the exact name of destination
if I don't want to wast my time in my travel.
I found a "good place" to stay at under a bridge(it's good for me!).
I think it would take only two more days to get to Seoul.
Mileage : 82km

(What I saw in Korea.)
We can often see stalls for foods on streets in Korea.
Those stalls sell nice foods with cheap price.
And also, we can see old men and women who sells vegitables on streets.
I don't know much about Korean agriculture,
but I think not many young people would take over their granny's agricultural job.
I feel bit sad when I look at the elderly sitting on a street in chilly climate.
And I haven't seen many people doing shopping at their stall.
I wish I would buy some vegitables at their stall and make them happier.
But I don't need to cook my meals in Korea.
(Because it's just a wast of time and chance to eat awesome Korean foods.)
All I do is just smiling at them...
