ハングル文字を勉強 (I have learned how to read Korean letters.)

１１月１０日(木)　【旅 ７５日目　韓国２１日目】

 

 

今日は、金泉(ｷﾑﾁｮﾝ)にある橋の下での目覚め。

 

I stayed at under a bridge in Gimcheon last night.

 

 

この前、この日記を読んでいる旅仲間のウィルに、

 

「相変わらず変なところでキャンプしてるなぁ。屋根のあるところがほんとに好きなんだな。」

 

そう言われた。笑

 

My Aussie mate Will follows my travel through this blog.

He sent me E-mail the other day.

He said,

 

"I laughed at you camp in the car park. I thought it's a typical "ken's camp site", with ugly scenery but nice and dry."

 

I was bit embarrassed and also laughed a lot when I read it.

You know about me very well,mate!

He would laugh again if he saw this photo...my campsite lastnight.hahaha.

 

テントをたたみ、朝食を食べに、

 

I packed my luggage then went to the fied bread stall.

 

【昨日の揚げパン屋へまた行った。】

こういう甘～いのが、大好きである。

 

Fried breads are very sweet.

I like sweet breads.

 

 

 

パンを立ち食いしていたら、揚げパンのお店から、店主のおっちゃんが出てきた。

 

 

手にスニーカーを持ったおっちゃんは、こっちに近づいてきて、

 

 

「サンダルじゃ寒いだろ。これ、履いていきな。」

 

 

たぶん、そう言ったのだろう。

 

スニーカーを、ポンっと俺の前に置いて、ニッコリ。

 

 

 

わ～♪ このおっちゃんも、いい人だなぁ☆

 

When I was eating the fried bread, the owner of the stall came to me.

He had a pair of shoes and told me to take it.

I was wearing a crocks in a cold climate.

So he cared for me.

 

What a good man he is!

 

 

 

「靴は、自分のがあるんです。でも、ほんとにありがとう！」

 

 

そんな感じのジェスチャーでお礼を伝えて、俺もニッコリ。

 

うんうん。

 

韓国の人は、ほんとに優しくていい感じだ♪

 

But I have my own shoes actually.

I wore crocks becaus it was easy to take off and on.

I told him my gratitude and didn't receive the shoes.

But his kindness made me really happy.

 

Korean people are very kind,I reckon.

 

 

でも、短パンにサンダルで過ごすには、確かにそろそろキツくなってきたな…。笑

 

(靴も長ズボンもあるけど、短パンにサンダルの方が楽なので、まだ我慢してる。)

 

 

 

親切な揚げパン屋のおっちゃんに別れを告げたあとは、

 

金泉の街をもう少し散策して屋台で昼飯を食べ、午後になってようやく出発。

 

I spent the morning in Gimcheon city with writing a diary.

I left Gimcheon for Daejon in afternoon.

 

 

次の大きな都市、大田(ﾃｼﾞｮﾝ)までは、あと８０ｋｍ。

 

Daejon is a next big city where is 80km away on highway 4.

 

 

本当は今日、そこまで行くつもりだったけど、午後の４時間ではちょっと厳しいので、

 

４０ｋｍ先の町「永同」(ヨンドン)までの移動にした。

 

It was bit late I left Gimcheon.

So I stopped riding when I go to Youndong where is 40km away from Gimcheon.

 

 

 

また国道４号線を楽々と４０ｋｍを走り、永同に到着。

 

 

永同は小さな町で、街の散策はすぐに終わってしまったので、

 

明るいうちに大学を探して向かった。

 

 

永同大学は、永同の駅から３ｋｍも山の方へ入った、僻地にあった。

 

I walked around Youndong downtown.

Youndong is a small city.

I found only one university in Youndong city.

It was isolated in a mountain.

 

 

４時を過ぎると、学食は閉まってしまうところが多く、

 

永同大学でも、インスタントラーメンしか出してもらえず、残念。

 

 

閉館まで図書館で過ごし、キャンパス内の静かな池のほとりでキャンプ。

 

 

芝生と落ち葉の上にテントを張ると、ふかふかで寝心地がいい。

 

 

I ate early dinner at a refectory in Youndong university.

Then I spent the rest of the day in a library there.

 

I found good place to camp in the campus.

It was a place at a side of a pond.

 

Sleeping on a grass is mucu better than on concrete.

１１月１１日(金)　【旅 ７６日目　韓国２２日目】

 

 

今日は、永同大学のキャンパスでの目覚め。

 

 

【ここは、ウィルも納得のキャンプ地だろう】

 

I stayed in Youndong university campus last night.

Will wouldn't complain about this site if he were here.(^-^)b

 

 

 

朝はとても寒い上に、雨がパラパラと降っていた。

 

 

濡れたテントをたたみ、大学の建物の内へ避難。

 

It was raining and cold morning.

I went into a building in the university.

 

 

 

今日は一日中雨の予報だったので、先へ進むのは諦めた。

 

The weather didn't get better all day long so I stayed at the building in a whole day..

 

 

ここの大学の食堂では、メニューが全く読めず困ったので、

 

今日は、ハングル文字の読み方の勉強をした。

 

(ネット上に、いい学習サイトがあった♪)

 

 

 

すると、わずか１時間で、ハングル文字が読めるようになった！

 

 

ハングル文字はアルファベットと同じように、単純な母音と子音の組み合わせだから、

 

意外と簡単に読めるとは聞いていたけど、ほんとに簡単だった。

 

 

もちろん、読んで音にするだけで、単語の意味はわからないものだらけだけど、

 

それでも、文字が読めるようになったという事は、大きい。

 

(少なくとも、メニューを読んで注文ができる。)

 

 

今までは、わけのわからない記号にしか見えなかったのに、

 

読めるようになると急に、文字を見るのが楽しくなった♪

 

 

こんなに簡単なら、もっと早く勉強しとくんだった！笑

 

Today, I had learned how to read Korean letters.

I had heard it wouldn't be difficult to learn it.

It wasn't actually!

It took only 1 hour to understand the structure of the characters.

 

So after 1 hour study, I was able to read any korean letters.

 

I still don't know Korean words a lot. 

I just can read them.

 

But it was really fun to just read them.

 

I should have learnd it earlier.

 

 

一日中、大学で足止めを食ったけど、意味のある足止めだったな☆

 

韓国の旅が、ますます楽しくなりそうだ♪

 

I didn't ride today.

But it was good chance to learn a foreign language.

 

I think my travel in Korea would get better from now.

【韓国の"へぇ～"】(What I saw in Korea.)

 

韓国の言葉の約７０％は、漢字から来ているらしい。

 

たとえば、

 

「地図 → チド」「歌手 → カシ」「準備 → チュンビ」など、

 

日本語と似ている言葉が多いのは、そのためだそうな。

 

ハングル文字が読めれば、韓国語の語彙数が少なくても、

 

日本語に近い言葉が多いので、意外と理解もできる。

 

もうちょっと深く、韓国語を勉強したくなってきた♪

 

 

70% of Korean words originally came from Chinese character's pronunciation.

Lots of Japanese words also came from it.

So there are a lot of words which have simular pronunciation between Japanese and Korean.

Now, I can read Korean letters.

It helps me to understand Korean a lot.

 

I've got to want to learn Korean more.
