１１月７日(月)　【旅 ７２日目　韓国１８日目】

 

 

今日は、普門観光団地のチムチルバンでの目覚め。

 

(チムチルバンでなく、ほんとは「チムジルバン」と発音すべきらしい。)

 

I stayed at a "Chim-chill-bang" in Bomun last night.

(We actually should pronounce it "jjimjilbang", rather than "Chim-chill-bang".)

 

 

【温泉ホテルさん、お世話になりました～♪】

 

雨が続いたので、また２泊もしてしまった。

 

今日はだいぶ遅く起き、朝風呂に入って、

 

出発したのが、もう１１時。

I stayed there for two nights because of bad weather.

 

I woke up late today.

When I left there, it was already 11 am.

 

 

 

 

慶州(ｷｮﾝｼﾞｭ)には、まだ見たいところがいくつかあるので、

 

今日も一日(と言っても午後だけだけど)、あちこち見て回ることにした。

 

 

I still have a few places I wanted to see in Gyeongju.

So I had decided that I would stay one more night in Gyeongju.

 

 

 

普門観光団地から慶州の市街地へもどり、

 

"行きつけ"の飯屋で、トンカツを食べる。

 

韓国でも、とんかつは"トンカツ"と言い、とてもポピュラーな料理。

 

【安くてボリュームがあって、おいしい。】

 

ごはんもスープも、キムチもお代わり自由なので、

 

お腹が空いているとき、俺はいつもトンカツを食べている。

 

 

I got back to Gyeongju city from Bomun.

Then I had a "Ton-katsu" at a restaurant.

"Ton-katsu" is Japanese cuisine which is one of my best favorite foods.

(It's a fried pork.)

Korean Ton-katsu is also very good and popular here.

And they also call it "Ton-katsu"!

We can have rice and "Kim-chee"(Korean pickles) and soup as much as we want.

When I'm hungry, I always eat Ton-katsu in Korea.

 

 

 

今日はまず、慶州の市街地から２０ｋｍほど離れた場所にある、

 

良洞村(ﾔﾝﾄﾞﾝｳﾞｨﾚｯｼﾞ)へ行ってみることにした。

 

良洞村は、新羅時代の昔ながらの村の景観が残されている歴史地区で、

 

去年の７月に、世界文化遺産に登録されたところ。

 

(日本で言えば、飛騨高山の白川郷のようなものなのかな。)

 

 

きれいに整備された国道７号線を、気持ちよく１時間走って到着。

 

 

After having lunch, I rode to "Yang dong village".

"Yang dong village" still has old Korean lifestyle and scenery.

It has been resistered as cultural world heritage.

 

 

【瓦と藁葺き屋根の家が並ぶ、落ち着いた感じの村】

 

 

今も、地元の人々が暮らしている。

 

ただ見て歩いてもよくわからないので、

 

日本人の団体観光客の人たちについていって、

 

一緒にガイドさんの話を聞かせてもらいながら歩いた。

 

観光客の人たちとおしゃべりするのも楽しく、一石二鳥だ♪

 

I looked around there with Japanese tourists.

I followed them and listend to their guide's explanations about the site.

It was fun to know about the history. 

And I enjoyed conversations with the tourists from Japan,

 

 

 

 

しばらく村の様子を見て歩いた後、

 

また同じ道を２０ｋｍ走り、市街地へ戻った。

 

 

暗くなった頃、慶州の銘菓"ハンナムバン"という饅頭のような菓子を食べてみようと思い、、

 

リーから教えてもらった、慶州市街地にある本店へ行ってみた。

 

 

ちょうど、店から出てきた人たちがいたので、

 

 

「ここがハンナムバンのお店ですか？」

 

 

と、尋ねると、

 

 

「そうだけど、２０個入りの箱からじゃないと買えないんですって。」

 

 

と、残念そうに教えてくれた。

 

 

そっかぁ。

 

俺も、１個でいいんだけどなぁ。

 

 

残念だなと思っていたら、

 

その尋ねた２人の女性が、ケーン号を興味深そうに見て、

 

 

「あら。自転車で旅をしてるの？」

 

 

と聞いてきた。

 

 

そうです。日本から来ました。

 

 

と答えると、

 

 

「私も、自転車で旅するのよ。この間、チベットを走ってきたわ。」

 

 

と、思わぬ一言。

 

 

へぇ！

 

チベット！？

 

そりゃあ、すごい。

 

 

チベットと言えば、標高４～５千ｍを越える高地であり、

 

ものすごい山道でもあると聞いている。

 

俺も、この旅の途中で、チャレンジできたらいいなと思っている場所だ。

 

 

興味津々になって、いろいろ聞きたくなった。

 

 

I rode back to Gyeongju city then.

 

I met two of women from Hongkong.

They asked me about my travel. 

So I told them where I would travel.

One of woman said,

 

"I also like travel by bike. I traveled Tibet this year."

 

Tibet!? Wow!

 

I knew it's really high place.

The ground level is about 4000 - 5000m high I think.

And it has a lot of ups and downs.

 

That is one of the place I wanted to visit on this travel.

 

So I was really excited to hear that.

 

The other woman was able to speak Japanese very well.

So I enjoyed talk with her in Japanese.

 

They also looked excited to meet with me.

 

It was only for 10 or 15 minutes we talked.

I thought I was really lucky to meet such a nice sister by chance.

So I asked them,

 

"Can I visit you when I arrive in Hongkong?"

 

They said OK with smile.

I've got a good motivation to go to Hongkong.

I look forward to see them there.

 

 

 

香港から観光に来た二人は姉妹で、お姉さんは自転車旅が好きで、

 

妹さんは、香港で毎週通って勉強したので、日本語を話せるとのこと。

 

 

おお～♪

 

偶然、おもしろい人たちに出会ったなー！

 

 

二人も、こっちに興味を持ってくれたので、旅の概要を話した。

 

お互いにテンションが上がり、

お姉さんは来年、チベットからネパールへ、また自転車で旅するらしい。

 

 

うわ～。

 

 

もっと話を聞きたいな～☆

 

 

 

 

「香港に行ったら、会いに行ってもいいですか？」

 

 

 

 

と聞くと、「ぜひどうぞ。」とのこと♪

 

 

やった！

 

 

また一つ、旅の楽しみが増えたー！

 

 

 

ほんの１５分くらい立ち話をしただけだけど、

 

香港に行ったら、絶対に会いに行きたいと思う。

 

 

 

 

おもしろい出会いのあとは、ウキウキ気分で、

【夜の贋鴨池を見て】

 

I went to one more historic site which used to be a King's palace

 

 

前にも泊まった、運動公園でまたキャンプ。

 

明日は、大陵苑を見学したら、慶州を出発しよう。

 

 

 

これから１週間で、最低気温が１０℃も下がるらしい。

 

ここからはのんびりせず、早くソウルに着いて、

 

早いとこ南下を始めなくちゃ～。

 

 

でも、旅は楽しく順調だ。

 

 

There is one more place I want to see in Gyeongju.

I'll see there in the morning tomorrow, then I'll leave Gyeongju for Daegu.

 

When I checked a this week's weather forcast, it showed lowest temperature whould go down by 10 degrees in 7days.

I thought I should have finished travel in Korea as fast as I could.

Otherwise I might have to ride under snow!

 

But travel in Korea is too interesting to be hurry...

【韓国の"へぇ～"】(What I saw in Korea.)

 

韓国では、日本車を全く見ない。

 

ほんとに、この１８日間で一度も見ていない。

 

HYUNDAI(ﾋｭﾝﾀﾞｲ)とKIA MOTORS(ｷｱ･ﾓｰﾀｰｽ?)製の車が多く、

 

その他にも、韓国製と思われる車がいくつかあり、

 

あとは、ベンツやアルファロメオ、シボレーなどをたまに見るくらい。

 

韓国も、自動車産業が盛んなんだなー。

 

家電業界も盛んだし、

 

日本と韓国には、たくさん共通点があるなぁ。

 

In Korea, I have never seen a car which is made in Japan.(Like TOYOTA,HONDA,MATSUDA and so on.,)

Korean car companies,like "HYUNDAI" and "KIA MOTORS", these blands are popular in Korea,I think.

I was bit suprised because I've seen many Japanese cars in a lot of countries I've ever visited.

But never in Korea.

Korean car industories are very flourished like Japanese ones.

I think there are lots of simularities between Japan and Korea.
