初めてのラオス。こんなトコ。（My first time being in Laos.）

６月４日(火) 【旅２８２日目　ラオス２日目】

 

 

 

Lak Saoの宿での目覚め。

 

 

 

 

【一泊30000Kip(300円)。】

 

静かで広くて、いい宿だった。

 

 

I stayed at a cheap hotel in "Lak Sao" where was the first town I visited in Laos.

The room was large and quiet, and its charge was only AU$4/night.

I thought hostels in Laos are nice.

 

 

 

目が覚めると、起き上がるのもしんどいほど、全身がだるい。

 

 

 

昨日、ろくに物を食べずに無理して100ｋｍ走ったので、

 

身体中の貯蔵エネルギーを、使い果たしてしまったみたいだ。

 

 

 

とても出発できる体調ではなかったので、宿で一日休養をとることにした。

 

やっぱ、無理をしてもいいことはないなぁ。

（国境の手前で、ストップしとけばよかった！）
 

 

When I woke up, I was still very tired.

I was sure it was because I had eaten much less yesterday than my body had needed.

Yesterday, I'd cycled 100km with a high pass at the elevation of 700m .

But I couldn't buy enough foods becuse I was short of Vietnamese currency.

So I had been hungry all day long.

 

Then today, just walking was hard to do.

 

I decided to take a whole day rest, and slept until 4pm.

 

 

 

 

食堂でチャーハンを食べた以外、１６時までずっと寝ていた。

 

 

 

その後、栄養と休養を取ったので、ようやく動けるようになって、

 

Lak Saoの街を散歩。

 

 

「ラオスの街は、どんな感じだろう？？」

 

 

と、わくわく。

 

 

After eating and sleeping enough, I recovered.

 

It was still light, so I took a walk.

【食材と日用品が何でもそろう、大きなマーケットがあった】

 

There is a large foods and goods market in the town.

 

 

 

そして、ラオスにもあった、

 

 

【大好物のデザート、5000kip(50円)】

 

ココナッツミルクに、タピオカとかゼリーとか豆なんかが入ってる。

 

甘～い。うま～い。

 

And I found my favorite sweets in the market.

(I don't know the name of it.)

It has tapiocas and jellies and peas in coconuts milk.

It's fairly sweet, and I love it.

 

 

 

 

 

【きれいだけど、これはなんだろう？？】

 

I found something looked beautiful.

 

 

と思ったら、食べ物じゃなくて、

 

 

 

【宗教的な、供え物(飾り)だった。】

 

こういうのが、道端や店の軒先など、あちこちにあった。

(仏壇みたいなものかな？交通事故現場らしきところにもあった。)


 

It wasn't a food.

It was a religious decolation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

【マンゴー３つとマンゴスチン６つで、8000Kip＝８０円】

 

果物安いな～♪

 

3 of mangoes and 6 of mangostines cost AU$1.

Fruits are also cheap here.

 

 

 

びっくりしたのが、

 

What I was suprised at was...

 

 

【ジャックフルーツの木】

 

木に生っているところ、初めて見た！

（そもそも、木に生るって知らなかった!!）
 

バカデカい実が、ぶら～ん。ぶら～ん。

 

なんか、すごく妙な感じだな(^m^)

 

 

A "Jack fluits tree".

I knew Jack fruits it self, but I didn't known "how" Jack fruit grew.

Jack fruits is a quite big fruit.

 

And there were many of the fruits on the tree.

 

I thougt it looked quite strange.

 

 

 

 

 

短いながらも楽しい、初めてのラオスの街歩きだった。

 

 

 

よく食べよく寝て、元気が回復したので、

 

明日からまた、首都のビエンチャン目指して出発！

 

 

It was short walk, but I enjoyed my first time walking around a town in Laos.

 

I've fully recovered now because I slept well and ate much today.

I can continue riding towartds capital city Vientiane.

【ベトナムの"へぇ～"】 What I saw in Vietnam.

 

 

もうラオスに入っちゃったけど、ベトナムの話。

 

 

 

 

ベトナム人は、ハンモックが好き。

 

Vietnamese people like hammocks.

 

 

【あっちでも、こっちでもよく見かける】

 

 

きっと、どの家にも１つはあるんじゃないだろうか。

 

 

I saw people sleeping on a hammock everywhere in Vietnam.

I think most of families have it at least one.

 

 

 

 

商店でジュースを買ってちょっと休憩して、すぐに出発しようとすると、

 

 

「もうちょっと休んでいきなよー。」

 

 

と、よく言われ、

 

 

Because Vietnamese are very friendly, 

many times they offered me to have a rest at their house or stores.

Then, when I saw there was a hammock, I asked them to let me lie on it. 

 

 

【ハンモックがあれば、寝ながらゆっくりさせてもらえた】

 

 

 

ホントにあちこちで見かける、ハンモック。

 

 

実は、中国とベトナムとの国境の町「东兴」にいるとき、

 

安かった(２０元＝２５０円)ので、一つ買っておいた。

 

 

Hammocks are cheap in Vietnam and Laos.

It cost only AU$1-3.

 

 

 

 

【俺も、ハンモック大好き！】

2段ベッドの下で寝るときに使える。
 

軽いしかさばらないので、とてもいい感じ。

 

I bought one for me.

I also like ling on it.

 

 

 

【こういう、自立式タイプもある】

 

 

东兴では、フレーム込みで、たったの８０元(１０００円)で売っていた。

 

買って、日本に持って帰りたい！

 

 

They sell "self-stand hammock" as well.

It cost only AU$12.

I want to have it one in my home...

 

 

 

 

ちなみに、ラオスでもハンモックはちょくちょく見かけて、

 

 

ビエンチャンの路上では、たったのUS$1（８０円）で売っていたので、

 

もう一個買っちゃった。

 

 

 

普通の旅行だったら、コレいいお土産になりそうだけどなぁ。

 

ほしい人～！？

 

 

People in Laos also use hammock.

It's very light and doesn't need space in my bag.

I think it's a convenient tool, and go with traveling.
