タイを東へ (Cycling in the countryside of Thailand .)

タイ東北部を、東へ向かって走行中。

ラオス・ベトナムを横断して、フエを目指すルート。

I'm cycling in north east part of Thailand,
heading towards Hue city inVietnam.



【田んぼと畑しかない、タイの田舎】

Where I am now is the countryside of Thailand.
There are lots of rice fields and sugar cane fields.

【天然ゴムって、こんな風に取るのか。】

Sometimes I saw natural rubber trees.


この辺りの田んぼは、なぜか、

生ゴミの臭いがする。

使っている堆肥のせいなのだろうか??

鼻を突く、酸っぱい臭いがキツイ。(-｡-;

I don't know why, but every rice fields around here stinks! smells like garbages.
I hate cycling next to a rice field.



道路はきれいに整備されていて、アップダウンも少なく、

とても走りやすい。

二日間快走して、ラオスとの国境まであと130km。

But conditions of roads are very good.
It doesn't have ups and downs,
road surface is smooth,
and not many cars are driving.

I have 130km to go to the border city between Thailand and Laos.





【最高気温は35℃くらい。】

Recently, max temp here is about 35 degrees centigrade.

そこまで暑くはないけど、日中は食欲がわかず、

アイスやジュースしか食べる気にならない。

なので、夕方には、エネルギー切れでクタクタになっている。

It's not too hot,
but still I have less appetite in daytime.
So I must ride a bike with lacking of energy.
Everyday in the evening, I was very tired.



タイ語はさっぱり読めないので、

小さな街では宿探しが難しいみたい。
(英語表記がない。)

I can't read Thai.
But most of signs don't have English translation in a small town.
So it's a little bit trouble for me to find a hostel in Thailand.

【久しぶりにキャンプしてみたけど、】

So I asked if I could camp at a petro station.
Camping at a petro station is very convenient,
but it was very hot in a tent all night long.
I sweated very much at the night.

地熱でテント内は、低音サウナ状態になり、一晩中汗をかく事になる。


雨季であるにも関わらず、

ここまで、ほとんど雨に打たれていないのは、だいぶラッキーだけど、

ここのところずっと、ゆるい移動の生活を続けているので、

だいぶ体力が落ちている感じ。

まあ、すぐにまた元に戻るはずだけど、

しばらくタバコを吸わないことにした。

I think I've lost some of my toughness for last 2 month.
Because I've relaxed and kept easy going too long.
I'll try not to smoke for the time being.


タイは、食べ物が安くて、






【何を食べてもおいしい】

Foods in Thailand taste really good.
And it's also very cheap.


スキヤキ(上)とカオマンガイ(下)にハマって、毎日食べている。

だいたい、一食100円。


今まで、韓国料理が一番だと思ってきたけど、

タイも同率一位決定の美味しさ。


ベトナムやラオスと違って、タイでは、

地元の人たちがあまり挨拶してこないけど、

こちらが笑顔を見せれば、向こうも笑ってくれて、いい感じ♪


東南アジアは、どこもエキサイティングで楽しい。

I like traveling in south east Asia.
