陸路で香港へ (Getting in Hongkong by land.)

３月２９日(木)　【旅２１５日目　中国 ９１日目】

 

 

香港と隣接している都市「深圳市」(しんせんし)まで、あと５０ｋｍというところ。

 

 

 

今日は、香港(特別行政区)内へ入れればいいやと思っていたので、

 

午前中は宿でのんびりして、午後から出発。

The Chinese city which is next to Hongkong is named Shenzhen.
The city was only 50km away from where I stayed lastnight.

I got relaxed in the morning and started late, after noon.

I still had enough time to reach Hongkong today.
 

 

【深圳市へ向かう省道は、ほとんど高速道路みたい】

 

時速３０ｋｍくらいをキープして、ガンガン走れた。

 

The road to Shenzhen was like motorway.
I was able to keep riding a bike at a speed of 30km/h.(Usually it's 20km/h.)

 

 

しかし、途中から道が本当に高速道路になってしまい、走れなくなったので、

 

ちょっとウロウロ、走れる道を探して、西へ西へ。

But the road ended up with being a motorway.
I looked for alternative way to get to Shenzhen.

 

【こういう道をタラタラ走る方が、楽しい】

I found the way.
The flowers on trees along the road were in full bloom.

 

【この花が、今は満開みたいだ】

 

最近、いたるところできれいに咲いているけど、

 

なんていう木(花)だろう？？

 

 

落ちた花を、拾って大量に集めている人が、あちこちにいた。

趣味で集めているとは思えない量だったので、もしかしたら売れるのかもしれない。


I didn't know the name of the tree.
Recently I saw those flowers blooming in many places.
Some of local people were collecting so much of the flowers on the ground.
I think they can use it for something or selling.
 



そういえば、台湾南部にも、
 

 

【同じ種類の木(色違いの花)があって、きれいだったなー。】

 

I saw the same speices of those trees in southern part of Taiwan.
Those trees had a different color of flowers from Chinese ones.

 

 

 

午後３時過ぎには、深圳の中心街へ着いたけど、

 

どこから香港へ入れるのかを調べていなかったので、ちょっと困った。

 

 

「深圳からは、適当に南へ行けば、出入国検査場があるだろう。」

 

 

なんて、軽く考えていたけど、

 

深圳は、想像していたよりもはるかに発展した大きい街で、探すのにちょっと時間がかかった。

When I got to Shenzhen city, I realized I didn't know where to go to get in Hongkong.
I thought it wouldn't be difficult to find a immigration gate in Shenzhen.
But Shenzhen city was much lager than I expected.

So I looked for the way which leads me to the immigration for about 1 hour. 


 

 

 

【１時間弱探して、やっと見つけた「羅湖口岸」という出入国検査場】

I found the building finally.

 

 

香港は、１９９７年に中国へ返還されたけど、"特別行政区"となっているので、

 

実際は、未だに外国のようなものらしい。

 

 

通貨は中国元じゃなくてHK$(香港ダラー)だし、

 

香港へ行くことは、中国から"出国"するとみなされるので、

 

パスポートにスタンプを押される。

 

Hongkong had been belonging to China.
But it has its own currency and many rules are different from China.
We even need to show our passport and get a stamp on it.
It's just like a independent country.

 

 

陸路で国境を越えたのは、初めてだったけど、

 

国境を越えてから、面倒くさい事実が判明。

 

 

 

香港側の出入国検査場からは、街まで道がないと言われた。

 

(実際はあるけど、一般車は通行禁止。)

 

 

 

他の人たちはみんな、電車に乗って市街地へ出るのだけど、

 

自転車は、分解するか折りたたまないと、乗せられない決まりらしい。

 

(どっちも不可。分解しても小さくならないし、荷物が多くて運べない。)

 

 

 

 

まさか、走れる道がないなんてなぁ。



予想外の展開だ。。。

 

After my passing through the immigration, I got in a little trouble.

I was going to ride a bike to Hongkong city downtown from the border.

But actually it wasn't allowed to cycle from there.

Everybody had to take a train to get out of the border.

But I also wasn't allowed to take my bike on the train.
So I was stuck in the border.



 

 

「どうすれば、市街地まで出られますか？」

 

"How can I get out of here with my bike?"
 

 

と、係員の人に相談すると、

I asked to a security guard.

 

 

 

「じゃあ、一駅だけ、特別に乗せてもらえるようにしましょう。」

 

"OK. I'll get a permission for you to take your bike on the train.But you need to get off the train at the next stop."


 

と、手を打ってくれた。(だいぶ交渉したけど。)

 

英語が通じたし、協力的な人たちでよかった！

 

I was lucky he was kind enough to help me.



 

そして、

 

【なんとか、出入国検査場を脱出】

 

I left the border by a train.
 

 

でも、帰りのことが心配だったので、

 

 

「帰りもまた、一駅だけ乗せてくれますか？」

 

 

と聞くと、

 

 

 

「今回は、本当に特別だから…次はムリかもしれない。」

 

 

 

と、つれない返事。

 

 

「結構ガラガラでしたよ。それぐらいいいじゃん！」

 

 

という、心の叫びは胸にしまっておいて、

今回乗せてくれただけでも感謝。

 

とりあえず笑顔で、無事に香港に入国できたことを喜んだ。

 

 

 

中国まで、別の帰り道があるといいんだけどな～。

 

 

 

The security guard told me that was exceptional treatment.
So he couldn't promise me make it happen again when I return to China.
 

I hope I can find another way to cross the border when I return.

 

 

さて。

 

 

中国との国境から、香港の繁華街「九龍」までは、直線距離で約３０ｋｍくらい。

 

電車では一駅分しか進んでいないので、まだ距離はだいぶある。

 

 

しかし、もう夕方だったので、

 

今日は、適当にキャンプできる場所を見つけて、夜を過ごすことにした。

 

 

 

香港と聞くと、都会的で栄えているイメージだったけど、

 

北部の新界(ﾆｭｰﾃﾘﾄﾘｰ)という地域は、山だらけの田舎だった。


I still had over 30km to get to Hongkong downtown.
and it was already evening.

So I just rode a short dictance until I found a place I could camp.

 

 

 

 

 

【あ、桜が咲いてる！】

I found trees which looked like SAKURA(cherry blossom).

 

 

と思ったら、

 

【ちょっと違う花だった】 (But it wasn't Sakura.)

 

桜よりも、だいぶ大きな花。
 

でも、遠くから見ると、桜みたいできれい。

 

そういえば、日本は今頃、桜が満開できれいなんだろうな～。

 

新年と桜の時期だけは、日本に帰りたくなる。

 

(友達と、楽しく騒げるからだ！笑)

 

 

 

 

暗くなり始めた頃、静かな植物園の駐車場を発見。

 

 

 

明日からの香港生活を楽しみに、

 

 

【快適に就寝。】

I found a calm and well isolated place I could camp.
I was looking forward to doing sightseeing in Hongkong tomorrow.
