もうすぐお正月

１７日。

この一日だけ天気が回復したので、

紹興から嵊州へ、８０ｋｍ移動。

It stopped raining on 17th Jan.
So I finally left Shaoxing, and rode 80km to Chengzhou.
 

夕方に着いて、宿探しを始めると、

一軒目でまた、いい賓館(旅館よりは格上のホテル)に巡り合った。

宿主さんは温かい感じで、宿代も３０元。


いい宿が見つかったので、日が落ちるまで、街を散策した。

I was lucky to find a nice and cheap hotel as soon as I had started finding a hotel.
The hotel cost only AUD$5 per night.
It was one of the cheapest hotel I had ever stayed.

It was still light when I checked in the hotel.
So I went to look around the city.

I couldn't do it in Shanghai because there were guards all the time.

↑２４時間見張りがいたので、ロデオポーズできず。

牛は、中国で人気があるのかな？

Bull seems to be popular animal in China.


今年は、春節(旧正月)が１月２３日だという。

中国では、西暦の正月より、旧暦の正月(春節)の方を盛大に祝うので、

街は今、正月ムードでにぎやかになっている。

This year, the "Chinese new year" will come on 23th Jan.
Chinese people celebrate it on a larger scale than the Gregorian calender's new year.
Streets are bustling with new year shoppers.

New years decorations were sold in front of shops.



【デカい花火をたくさん売る露店も、あちこちに。】

There were temporary shops which sold fireworks beside of roads.

一週間以上前から、いろんなところで花火が上がっているから、

なんだろうな？と思っていたんだけど、

やっぱり、春節のお祝いの花火だったみたい。

Recentry, I have seen lots of fireworks launched in many places in citys.
But I didn't know what those fireworks were launched for.
I finally figured out it was for celeblating Chinese new year. 

深夜２時とか４時とかでもおかまいなしに、

バンバンバンバン花火が上がるのにビックリしてたけど、

あれは個人の花火だったのか！

Fireworks were launched continually everywhere, anytime even 2 am,4 am.



学校も休みに入っているので、街には若者や家族連れがたくさんいる。

小っちゃい子たちが、爆竹を投げ合って遊んでいる音にも、よくビックリする。

とにかく、街はにぎやかだ♪




でも、天気予報の予想通り、

１８日から今日(２１日)までは、毎日雨だったので、

丸三日間、移動せず。

雨が少ない時期のはずなのに、梅雨なみに雨が降るのにマイッたなぁ。


台湾が、なかなか近づいてこないヨー。

It kept raining for 3 days, from 18th to 21st.
So I couldn't leave Chengzhou until 22nd Jan.
January shouldn't have much rain like this.

Taiwan is about 500km away, still far from here.
