また割れた～！ (It's broken again!)

１月２５日(水)　【旅１５１日目 / 中国５９日目】

 

 

今日は台州の賓館での目覚め

 

 

一日中雪で寒々としていた昨日とは、打って変わって、

 

 

【快晴！】

 

２ヶ月ぶりに、ダウンジャケットを脱いで過ごせた♪

 

 

I stayed at a hotel in Taizhou last night.

 

Although yesterday was chilly and snowy day,

it was beautiful day today!

 

I didn't need a down jacket.

 

 

 

 

今日も、若干のアップダウンを繰り返す山道を走る。

 

I rode through a few mountains.

The road rolled in many places.

 

 

【途中の町にあった、中国らしいお寺】

 

A　Chinese style temple in a town.

 

なんてことのない平凡な町にあったけど、

山を削ったような場所にあって、上の方まで続いている。

 

興味が湧いて、「ちょっと、奥まで見に行きたいな。」と思っても、

 

自転車をそのままにして離れるのが不安だったので、見学は断念。

 

 

海外だと、荷物の盗難には十分注意しなくちゃいけないので、

 

行動の自由度が少し下がる。

 

 

１年間、ほとんど無警戒で旅しても、何一つ盗られなかった日本は、

 

やっぱり安全でいい国だなー、と思う。

 

(中国ではもう、工具類を２度盗まれた。)

 

I wanted to go into the temple and see what people were doing there.

But I couldn't leave my bike and my stuff alone.

I have already stolen some of my tools twice in China.

So I gave up checking the temple.

 

I have never stolen anything in Japan during my traveling there for 1 year.

Japan is much safer than China.

I need to be more careful for many things from now on.

 

 

 

 

ある山の峠を登りきると、

 

 

 

【断崖の上に塔が立っていた】

 

すごいところに立てたな、と感心。

 

 

I found a tower on a steap criff.
I saw it from a pass.

The tower looked great!

I wondered how people could build such a tall tower on the criff.

 

 

【"方山"という、観光名所らしい】

 

It seemed a famous sightseeing place.

There was a strange shaped massive rock on a top of mountain.

That scenery was also great.

 

岩の断崖の山と、山からニョキッと生えたような巨石。

 

どうやって、こんな風景になるんだろう？

 

 

ここも、もっと奥まで行ってみたかったけど、

 

自転車を置いておけないので、やっぱりスルー。

 

残念。

 

 

But I couldn't leave my bike alone there.

So I gave up checking the place as well.

 

 

 

 

と、ここで！

 

 

…マズいことに、気がついた。

 

 

 

【あっ！またホイールが割れてる!!】

 

 

がーん。

 

前回は前輪で、今回は後輪のリムが割れていた。

 

これは、自転車屋へ行って交換してもらうしかない…。

 

日照で前輪のリム交換を頼んだとき、やっぱり、

 

後輪のも、一緒に交換してもらっとくんだった～。

 

 

When I started riding down from the pass,

I found my rear wheel was broken.

Its rim has a crack on it.

 

I knew the rim had been worn out.

I should have replaced it when I had replaced front one 6 weeks ago.

 

 

 

リムが割れたので、リアブレーキは使えなくなった。

 

でも、とりあえず走行はできたので、慎重に峠を下る。

 

 

Although the rear break was useless anymore,

my bike was still able to be ridden.

So I rode down the down hill slowly.

 

Then...

 

 

 

すると！

 

 

 

パァン！！

 

Bang!!

 

 

 

今度は、後輪から破裂音。

 

I heard a plosive from the rear tire.

 

 

 

 

プッシュー！ガタガタガタ…

(↑すっごいキライな音)
 

 

 

 

【あっ！グッサリいってる!!】

 

鉄の棒を踏んでしまったらしく、それがタイヤを斜めに貫通。

 

見事にパンクしていた。

 

 

当然、こっちはすぐに修理開始。

 

チューブの穴二箇所をパッチでふさぎ、

 

タイヤ側面の穴も、内側からパッチを貼って応急処置。

 

 

なんとかうまくごまかして、直せた♪

 

 

I had a trouble again.

The rear tire was penetrated by an iron stick.

It took about 1 hour to fix it.

 

It had been getting dark.

 

 

 

 

そんなトラブルが続いたので、

 

今日の目的地「楽清」へ着いたときは、もう、真っ暗になっていた。

 

 

 

そしてやはり、宿はどこも正月料金で高め。

 

何軒も回ったけど、外国人が泊まれる８０元以下の宿はなかったので、

 

ちょっと高いけど妥協した。

 

 

When I got to the destination today, Le qing, it was already dark.

I looked for a cheap hotel in the town.

But all the hotels raised its room charges because it was during new year holidays.

 

I didn't want to stay at an expensive hotel.

But I was so tired of riding today.

So I stayed at a bit expensive hotel.

 

It wasn't so big probrem, of course.

 

 

割れたリムは、どうしようかなぁ。

 

一週間の正月休み中だから、自転車屋もまだしばらくやってないんだけど…。

 

The probrem was when would I fix my broken wheel.

It was still in the beginning of new year holidays.

 

Bike shops wouldn't open for next 5 days...
