台湾１５日目－ １６日目 (My 15th - 16th day in Taiwan)

昨日（３月９日）、ようやく台湾一周を終え、また台北に戻ってきた。

台湾の旅は、人との出会いがたくさんあってとても充実していたので、

だいぶ遅くなったけど、ババッとでも記録を残しておこうと思う。

I'd finished riding around Taiwan,and come back in Taipei yesterday.(9th Mar)
My travel in Taiwan had a lot of meetings with nice local people.
Because it was so enjoyable for me,I would like to record my travel in Taiwan on this blog,
Though it started from over 2 weeks ago...

２月２２日(木)【旅１７９日目　台湾１５日目】

 

 

七股(ﾁｰｸﾞ)にあるガソリンスタンド裏の空き地での目覚め。

【人目につかないよう、こっそりこっそり...】


 

広大な塩田がある七股は、昔、台湾の塩生産の中心だったところ。

 

現在、塩の生産はもう行われていないけど、

 

今は、観光地として保存されている。

 

 

I camped at an empty lot in Cigu.

Cigu had vast salt field.

The place used to be famous for producing a lot of salt.

But it stopped producing salt many years ago.

Now that area is protected as sightseeing place.

 

 

 

【全部"塩"の山！】

 

ちゃんと、舐めて確かめてみた。

 

しょっぱい。

 

That mountain was made of salt.

I tasted it to make sure it was real salt.

And...it was salty.

 

 

ビジターセンターの係員の人と、話が盛り上がり、

 

思いの外、長居してしまった。

 

 

台湾の人は、フレンドリーな上に、英語も結構通じる。

 

もし通じなくても、なんとか理解しようと、

 

伝えようとしてくれるのがうれしい。

 

(↑中国では通じないとそれっきり、よく無視された(｡｀Д´｡)ﾉ彡)

 

Lots of Taiwanese people can understand (or speak)  English.

If someone didn't understand what I said, he still would try to understand it.

(This point is different from many people who I met in China.)

 

 

そして、よく笑う人たちだと思う。

 

相手が笑ってくれれば、こっちも笑顔になれる。

 

 

だから、台湾に来てから、人と話すのが毎日楽しい。

 

(↑これも、中国での旅とは大きく違うところ。)

 

And Taiwanese people smile a lot.

When someone smiles at me, I also can smile at him.

And vice versa.

 

So I've smiled a lot since I came in Taiwan.

 

And it's really fun for me to talk to local people here.

 

 

 

 

七股から南へ、１７号線で干潟の中をひたすら進むと、

 

「クロツラヘラサギ」の飛来地がある。

 

世界にほんのわずかしかいない、貴重な鳥だという。

 

 

There was a protected area for "Black-faced spoonbill" near Cigu.

Those birds are quite rare in the world.

 

 

【世界中に、これしかいない】

 

Only 1839 of them are still alive.

And most of them are living in Taiwan in this time of year.

 

 

しかも、そのほとんどは今、台湾のここに来ているようだ。

 

望遠鏡で、たくさんのクロヘラサギを見ることができた。

I was able to see some of them through a telescope.

その後、午後になって、ようやく、台南市に入った。

 

 

I arrived in Tainan city in the afternoon.

 

 

台南は、台湾の古都であり、たくさんの観光名所もある。

 

なので、時間をかけて、いろいろ見学しようと期待しいたんだけど…

 

 

Tainan is old capital city of Taiwan.

It's like "Kyoto" in Japan.

There were many places to see in Tainan.

Historic buildings, old temples, museums etc.

 

I was looking forward to visiting Tainan and looking around there, 

but...

 

 

 

自分は、お寺や廟にあまり興味がないことに気づいた。

 

I realized that I actually am not so interested in those places.

 

 

そして、自転車を安全に置いておける場所も見つからなかったので、

 

観光名所の見学は、中止。

 

(正直、たくさんありすぎて面倒くさくなった。)

 

 

ガイドブックによると、台南にはたくさんのおいしいものがあるということだったので、

 

食べ物めぐりをすることに。

 

 

So I didn't look around famous places in Tainan.

But I enjoyed eating nice foods.

(Tainan is also famous for nice foods.)

 

 

 

【担仔麺】

 

"Tanzu-men"

 

おいしいんだけどサ...


わんこそば並みの小サイズに、びっくり＆がっかり。

 

１分で食べ終わった。

俺には、味より量が大事なんです。。。
 

I love noodles.

And this noodle tasted good, but...it was too small!

I ate it up within 1 minute.

I was disappointed of the noodle.

For me, the amount of the food is more important than its taste.

小さい牡蠣が、たくさん入っているオムレツのようなもの。

 

やっぱり、これがおいしい。

 

A lot of small oysters were in this omlet.

This is one of my best favorite foods in Taiwan.

 

 

【豆乳のかき氷】

 

豆乳を凍らせたものを、かき氷にしている。

 

味も歯触りも、まったりしていておいしい。

 

A bowl of shaved ice.

The ice was made of soy milk.

It tested very nice.

豆乳のかき氷にハマッたので、

 

好物のタピオカと一緒になっているものも食べてみた。

I like tapioca.

Tapioca go well with ice cream.

 

 

 

【日本語で話しかけてくれた、おっちゃん】

 

日本語教育を受けた世代ではないけど、

 

日本が好きだから、勉強したのだという。

 

お菓子たくさんもらっちゃった。

 

 

Sometimes Taiwanese people talk to me in Japanese.

I met many people who said he had been in Japan.

And most of them told me they liked Japan.

 

 

 

台湾には、日本に友好的な人が多くて、うれしい。

 

 

「日本から来ました。」

 

 

と言うと、喜んでもらえる場合が多い。

 

 

こっちも、ますます台湾が好きになっちゃうよな～♪

 

When I said "I'm from Japan.", a lot of people became more friendly to me.

So I also got to be friendly to them.

I think the relationship between Japanese and Taiwanese is good.

 

 

 

個人レベルでは、お互い、こんなに仲良くできるのに、

 

国レベルでは、40年も前から国交を断絶しているなんてなぁ。

 

政治の世界っていうのは、ややこしい。

 

 

But our government have broken off relations with Taiwanese government for 40 years.

Umm...

 

 

 

 

いろいろ食べてお腹がいっぱいになったので、

 

台南を出発。

 

Anyhow, I left Tainan when I got full.

 

 

 

ほんの１０ｋｍくらい走ったら、海岸沿いに広い駐車場があったので、

 

今日は、そこでキャンプ。

 

道路から丸見えだったし、車も停まっていたけど、

 

台湾は安全なので、問題なし。

 

 

I found a large parking area next to the highway.

Taiwan is safe enough to camp at well exposed area.

２月２３日(金)【旅１８０日目　台湾１６日目】

 

 

 

台南市、ビーチの駐車場での目覚め。

 

I stayed at a parking area in Tainan.

 

 

今日は、台湾第二の大都市「高雄」(ｶﾞｵｼｮﾝ)へ。

 

I arrived in Kaohsiung.

Kaohsiung is the second biggest city in Taiwan.

 

 

高雄では、２年前に下関で出会ったマイコちゃんと再会する約束をしているし、

 

秋菊さんのお友達の家にお世話になることになっているので、

 

楽しみな出会いがいろいろ。

 

I had a Japanese friend to see in Kaohsiung.

And Chiuchu-san had already introduced me to her friend living there.

So there were at least two meetings I was looking forward to in Kaohsiung.

 

 

まずは、高雄の街を自転車で散策して、

 

I looked around Kaohsiung city by bike.

 

 

やっぱり、台湾の人はフレンドリーで、

 

And I met friendly people there, enjoyed talking to them.

 

 

 

「今日も、いい一日になりそうだ♪」

 

"It's going to be a nice day today."

 

 

という予感を抱きながら、秋菊さんのお友達のニィさんの家を訪ねた。

 

I expected that today must have been going to be a nice day from the beginning of the day.

 

In the afternoon, I visited Chiuchu-san's friend's(Ni-san) house.

 

 

 

すると、ニィさんの息子のブオウェイくんが、歓迎してくれた。

 

 

「夜、友達に会いに行くから、一緒に行こうよ。」

 

 

と誘って、二人で夜市へ行き、久しぶりにマイコちゃんとの再会。

 

Ni-san's son, Buowei-kun welcomed me.

He was nice boy, so I asked him to go to see my Japanese friend together.

 

At night, we went to a night market, and met my friend Maiko-chan.

 

 

 

ナイトマーケットでは、屋台でいろんなものを少しずつ食べられるし、

 

射的や輪投げやピンボールなど、いろんな遊びの屋台もあるので、

 

友達と行くと、なお楽しい。

 

It was fun to walk around in night market.

There are a lot of stalls.

Some stalls sold tasty snacks, and some stalls allowed us to play many kinds of games.

It's better to have some friends to enjoy a night market.

 

 

金曜日だったので、めちゃくちゃ人がたくさんいて活気もあり、

 

日本のお祭りに来ているようだった。

 

にぎやかだったな～♪

 

It was friday night so there were so many people at the market.

I liked the atmosphere.

 

 

出会いが多くて、楽しい一日だった。

 

中国語を話せるようになっていたマイコちゃんが、うらやましかったなー。

 

It was enjoyable day as I expected.

 

And...I was envy of My friend's skill of speaking Chinese.
I can understand few Chinese sentence after 3 month stay in China and Taiwan...
