１２日目、台湾一周開始。 (12th day in Taiwan.)

 

２月２０日(月)【旅１７６日目　台湾１２日目】

 

 

５日間も泊めてもらったけど、今日でチェンとイーの二人ともお別れ。

 

I left Chuan's house after staying there for 5 nights.

Thanks for your big help, and nice memories! 

 

イーとは、朝にお別れしたけど、

 

チェンとは、隣町の新竹(ｼﾝﾁｭｳ)まで、

 

 

I said good bye to Yi, and started riding with Chuan to Shinchu city.

Let's go cycling together!

 

 

１５ｋｍくらい走って、新竹の老街「湖口」(ﾌｰｺｳ)に到着。

 

昨日、教会で会ったルーが待っていてくれた。

 

 

After 15km cycling, we arrived in Shinchu city.

Another Taiwanese friend Lu waited for us.

Lu showed us around HuKo old street.

We enjoyed Hakka people's traditional tea, "Lei cha".

本物の戦車って初めて見たけど、ほんとに"鉄の塊"なんだ。

 

想像以上に強そうでびっくり。

 

There were a real tank displayed at a park in Huko town.

I had never seen a real tank.

I was surprised how it looked strong.

そして、チェンともお別れ。

 

And finally I said good bye to Chuan.

 

 

【出会えてよかったよ！】

 

I was so happy to meet you again in Taiwan.

 

 

う～ん、泣きそうになった。

 

でも、台湾は近いから、またいつか必ず会えるはずだ。

 

I nearly started crying.

But I think we can meet again in the future.

Japan and Taiwan is close to each other. 

 

 

 

目的地の台中まではだいぶ遠かったので、

 

午後から必死に走って、着いたのは午後八時半。(１３５ｋｍ)

 

 

After leaving Shinchu city, I cycled to Taichon.

When I arrived there, it was already 8:30pm.

I was so tired after 130km riding today.

Lu gave me some foods to go.
My best  favorite drink "Zhenju naicha"(Tapioca milk tea) helped me to pedal.

 

台中では、秋菊さんのお友達、田(ﾃｨｴﾝ)さんと温(ｳｪﾝ)さんに迎えていただき、

 

教会の一室で寝かせてもらえることになった。

 

 

ありがたや～。

 

 

台湾に来てから、恵まれすぎていて怖いくらい。

 

 

In Taichon, Chiuchu-san's friends Tian-san and Wen-san invited me to a church.

They allowed me to stay there for the night.

 

I was so lucky I had met so many nice people in Taiwan.

移動と観光とに忙しく、人との出会いにも恵まれすぎているので、

旅の記録がなかなか現在に追いつかないけど、

台湾一周は、予定通りのペースで順調に進んでます。

今日、台湾最南端を通過したので、あと約半分。

Today(27th), I passed southern most point in Taiwan.
I still have half of way to cycle around Taiwan.
