優しい人たちばっかりだ♪ (13th - 14th day in Taiwan. )

 

２月２１日(火)【旅１７８日目　台湾１３日目】

 

 

今日は、潭子にある教会での目覚め。

 

 

【静かで、よ～く眠れた♪】

 

I stayed at a church in 潭子(tanzu).

 

９時を過ぎたので、そろそろ出発しようと思ったら、

 

ウェンさんから、

 

「もう一つの教会の方を、案内するわ。」

 

とのお誘い。

 

 

今日は、特に急ぐスケジュールでもなかったので、

 

お誘いにのって、教会へ。

 

 

【教会には、歌を歌ったり絵を描いている人たちがいた】

 

Wen-san took me to another church to show me a beautiful garden there.

There were some people who were painting pictures, singing a song.

 

 

 

「せっかくだから、あなたも描いてみたら？」

 

 

とウェンさんに言われ、

 

 

(そろそろ出発しなくちゃいけないんだけどなぁ。)

 

 

とは思いつつ、絵筆を持つ。 (←断るのがニガテな性格)

 

Wen-san said to me,

 

"Why not try painting?"

 

I'm not good at saying "No" to any offer.

So I tried painting.

 

 

 

【南国的な植物を描いてみた】

 

絵を描くなんて久しぶりだったなぁ。

 

晴天の空の下、ゆったりとベンチに腰掛けて絵を描くのに没頭。

 

なかなか優雅な時間だった♪

 

Actually it was nice for me to sit and get relaxed with painting a picture.

I enjoyed the time.

Thanks for nice stay and interesting conversations with you.

 

 

そんなこんなで、正午を過ぎてからの出発になった。

 

 

次の目的地「台南」までは、たぶん１４０ｋｍくらい。

 

ちょっと遠いので、二日間かけて行くことにした。

 

 

なので今日は、適当に行けるところまで行ければいい。

 

 

 

そんな感じでのんびり走って、

 

１８時の日没とともに、移動も終了。

 

たった５０ｋｍしか進まなかったけど、まあよしと。

 

 

Next destination "Tainan" city was about 140km away.

It was too much for one day riding.

 

So I left the church in the afternoon.

And I moved only 50km today.

 

 

ここ１０日間、ずっと誰かと一緒だったので、

 

久しぶりの一人キャンプ生活が、またちょっと新鮮。

 

It's been for 10 days since last time I camped outside.

there were always somebody who allowed me to stay at their hous for these 10 days.

Amazing hospitalities exsist in Taiwan!

 

But still, I also liked camping alone.

２月２２日(水)【旅１７９日目　台湾１４日目】

 

 

台中の５０km南、

 

【歩道橋の下での目覚め。】

 

My camping spot last night.

 

 

台北からここまで、ずっと交通量の多い１号線を走ってきたけど、

 

今日は、のどかな田んぼの中を走る１９号線へ移った。

 

I had ridden on highway 1 from Taipei.

Highway 1 was busy road.

So I changed my way on highway 19.

 

 

【道と～田んぼ~♪】

 

車の数が一気に減り、快走。

 

Highway 19 had less cars and many rice fields beside of it.

 

 

 

【アヒル～♪】

 

台湾でも、アヒルはよく食べられているので、

 

田舎を走ると、飼育場をよく見かける。

 

There were a lot of duck farm as well.

 

 

 

【台湾の廟は、派手で立派】

 

こういう建物が、珍しくない。　

 

あちこちの都市にある。　(上の二枚も、それぞれ別の都市で撮影したもの。)

 

Temples in Taiwan looked splendid!

There were so many temples like those in cities in Taiwan 

 

 

【中の装飾も、見ごたえがあるすごさ】

 

宗教のことは、よくわからない自分。

 

とにかく見て、すごいなぁと思っただけ。

 

Inside of those temples looked also great!

Because I'm not good at religions, 

I just thought "It looks great!"

 

 

 

 

次の目的地「台南」は、昔の台湾の首都だった場所で、

 

日本で言えば、京都のような場所だという。

 

 

中心街まで行ってしまうと、キャンプする場所が見つけづらくなりそうなので、

 

少し手前でストップ。

 

 

 

 

チェンに協力してもらい、２週間のWi-Fiの契約をしたので、

 

今は、台湾国内４７００店もあるセブンイレブンの、どこでもネットにつなげる。

 

電源まで使わせてもらえる店舗もたくさんあり、

 

 

There are so many places we can use Wi-Fi in Taiwan.

I applied to "7-WiFi" which allowed me to use Wi-Fi at any "seven eleven" in Taiwan.

And Taiwan has 4700 of seven elevens.

A lot of 7-11 allow us to use the power as well.

 

【とっても便利】

 

It is so convenient.

 

 

「夜は、セブンイレブンへＧＯ！」

 

 

というのが、台湾での旅の日課になりそう。

 

I think I would be in seven eleven at every night When I'm in Taiwan.

 

 

 

３時間近く居座っていたら、店員さんに声を掛けられ、

 

(長居してごめんなさい～。)

 

と思いつつ対応したら、

 

 

「どこから来たの？へ～！日本から自転車で！？」

 

 

って、ただ興味を持って声をかけてくれただけだった。

 

 

３時間も居座ったあげく、アイスコーヒーをごちそうになる。(^o^;)


そして、

 

 

「じゃあ、この本をあげるよ。」

 

 

と、わざわざ家まで取りに行き、台湾一周のための本までくれた。

 

 

【ほんと、親切な人が多いなぁ！】

 

Friendly 7-11 clerks talked to me.

They gave me a cup of ice coffee, and nice guide book for cycling around Taiwan!

How kind they are.(^0^/)

I was so glad.

 

 

夜は、ガソリンスタンドの裏に空き地を見つけて、キャンプ。

 

Then I camped at a empty lot behind a petro station.
