二人とも、お世話になりました～♪ (Thank you so much, Chuan and Yi.)

２月１９日(日)【旅１７５日目　台湾１１日目】

 

(18th Feb / 11th day in Taiwan )

 

 

午前中は、チェンとイーと一緒に、教会へ礼拝に。

 

俺は、宗教には無縁だけど、礼拝でどんなことをするのかには興味があったので、

 

いい体験であった。

 

I went to church with Chuan and Yi in the morning.

Although I'm not religious (I didn't have any paticular religion),

I was interested in religions.

 

So it was interesting for me to go to church on Sunday.

It was good experience for me.

 

 

【教会でのいい出会いもあった】

 

And I met some nice people there.

 

 

 

 

午後は、チェンがまたバイクで名所を案内してくれた。

 

In the afternoon, Chuan took me to show me around Dashi town by motorbike.
 

 

 

【慈湖紀念雕塑公園】 (←実は、読めない...。)

 

台湾全土から回収された蒋介石の銅像･胸像が、ここに置かれている。

 

昔は、どの学校にも必ず蒋介石の像が置かれていて、崇められ、

 

子どもは脱帽して礼をするように教育されたんだって。

 

 

今の台湾の人たちが、蒋介石のことをどうとらえているのか、

 

チェンがいろいろ詳しく教えてくれたので、勉強になった。

 

That park has so many statues of Taiwan's former president "Chiang Kai-shek".

Those statues were collected from many places (e.g.schools) all around Taiwan.

Chuan taught me how did Taiwanese people think about Chian Kai-shek.

It was good lecture for me.

 

 

 

暗くなってから、

 

 

【大渓(ダーシィ)の老街(ラオジエ)へ】

 

日本の統治時代に作られた、石造りの古い建物が並ぶ通りで、

 

今は、観光地としてにぎわってる。

(写真は全然にぎわってないけど...)

 

Then we went to "old steets" in Dashi town.

Those buildings were made by Japanese when Taiwan was under the rule of Japan.

Now, old streets are popular sightseeing places in many cities in Taiwan.

 

 

 

【"蛤仔煎"(牡蠣のオムレツ)】

 

Taiwanese style "Oyster omlet" was awesome!

I loved it.

 

３ｃｍくらいの小さな牡蠣が、たくさん入っている。

 

これがとてもおいしかった。

 

台湾では、どこの地方でも食べられるらしいので、

 

これからも、たくさん食べられそう♪

 

 

 

 

 

イーが、家でご飯を作って待っていてくれるので、

 

 

【"豆干"をお土産に買って帰った】

 

Chuan bought "Togan" for our dinner.

"Togan" is made from beens,like "Tohu".

Togan has harder texture than Tohu.

 

ちょっとグロテスクに見えるやつもあるけど、

実は、豆干は豆からできている。豆腐の親戚って感じだ♪

歯ごたえがよくて、煮つゆがしっかりしみこんでいるので、よいおかずになる。
 

 

 

【イーの手料理の夕食】

 

毎回、いろいろな台湾の家庭料理を作ってくれた♪

 

そして、どれもおいしい！

 

Yi always cooks well.

I was able to enjoy Taiwanese homemade dishes everyday.

 

 

 

 

【お似合いの二人】

 

二人とも、優しくて心が強い。

 

今までに出会った中で、最高の夫婦だと思う。

 

Both of them are kind and storng in their mind.

They are the best married couple I have ever met.

 

 

 

そんな二人にまた会えて、

 

【俺も幸せでした～♪】

 

I was so happy I met them again in Taiwan.
