９合目(3460m)を通過し、しばらく登ると、９合目５勺の山小屋があった。
山頂が、数百メートル先に、はっきりと見える。

「よっしゃ～、もうちょっとだ♪」
"The summit is almost there!"
目標の『みんなで登頂』まで、ほんとにあとちょっと。
そんなとき、急に天候が悪くなり、パラパラと雨が降り出した。
Our goal was about to be achieved.
But then, it started raining suddenly.
【みんな雨具を装備】
We wore rainwear.
「ここまで、ずっといい天気だったのになぁ。」
"It's a shame to start raining.It's been fine since the beginning."
まさか、雨具を使うことになるなんて、思いもよらなかった。
ここまで、気温は思ったよりもずっと高く、長袖長ズボンだった俺は、
I had not thought I would need to use my rainwear today.
On the contrary, I had thought I wished I had worn a T-short.
「暑～っ。半そで短パンのまま登ればよかったー。」
なんて言っていたのに。
ほんとに、山の天気は変わりやすいんだな。
Weather in a mountain tend to change so easily.
It's true.
ちゃんと、雨具を準備しておいてよかった！
I was happy I had rainwear with me.
さっきまで目の前に見えていた山頂は、すっかり雲の中。
最後まであせらず、休憩を多く取りながらゆっくりと登った。
The top of the mountain couldn't be seen in cloud.
We never hurryed, just continue climbing slowly.
そして…
Then...
【みんなそろって、登頂できた！】
Finally, we got to the summit!

I got the final stamp on my wooden stick at the top.
時刻は午後１時半。
登山開始から、７時間半が経っていた。
The time was 1:30 pm.
We had climbed for 7 and half an hour.
雨の降り続く山頂は付近は、さすがに登山者で混み合っていた。
レインウェアを着ていても、濡れた身体で立っているだけだと、さすがに少し寒い。
The area around the top was very crowded with climbers.
It was still raining when we got to the summit.
We got cold because of wet body.
「どこかに、雨をしのげてゆっくりできるところはないかな。。。」
"We should find somewhere well sheltered from this rain."
ちょっと探してみると、
I looked for it for a short while.
【狭いけど、なんとか雨をしのげそうな場所を発見！】
I found a good spot!
その狭い空間に、４人でなんとか入り込み、昼食タイム。
The spot was small, but we were able to be fit in and ate our lunch there.
【さむ～っ。】
It's cold now!
"山頂では、ラーメン！"と、
It's a great idea to eat Ramen nudle at the top of a mountain, I think.
山に登るときは、いつもガスコンロとカップラーメンを持っていくことにしている。
今日は、みんなひとつずつ持ってきたので、
I always do it when I climb a mountain.
This time, we all did it.

Ramen nudle was great!
It made us wormer.
昼食を済ませたあと、
富士山の真の頂上「剣ヶ峰」(３７７６ｍ)を目指して、もう少し登った。
Actually, the place we got to wasn't a real summit.
The genuine summit was a little further away form there.
So after the lunch, we climbed again a little bit.
【よくここまで、がんばったね！】
Finally, we climbed up to 3776m!!
【ここが、正真正銘"日本で一番高い場所"だ！】
This is the genuine summit! The highest place in Japan!!
帰りは３時間かけて、五合目まで下山。
「こんなに登ったんだっけ！？」
っていうくらい、長～い道のりだった。
五合目に着く前に、かなり暗くなってしまい、
「絶対使わないだろうけど、念のため…。」
と持ってきていたヘッドライトが役に立った。
山をナメたらいかんね。。。
Climbing down to the place we started climbing took us 3hours.
It was long way down more than I expected.
I didn't think we had climbed such a long way.
In the end it became dark so I needed to use my head light to see the track.
We never underestimate climbing a mountain, I reckon.
富士登山は、思ったよりも大変だった。
睡眠不足だったし、日帰りの強行スケジュールだったし、
特に女の子二人には、かなり辛い登山だったに違いない。
ど根性を見せてもらった気がする。
Climbing Mt.Fuji was much harder than I expected.
it must be much harder for wemen than me.
Two of my female friends did great job!
初めは、
「たぶん、４人で登頂は無理だろうな～」
なんて思っていたので、
『みんなで登頂』の目標が達成できたことは、ほんとにうれしかった☆
一生思い出に残る、いい一日を過ごせたな♪

Today would be one of the unforgetable day in my life.
